My family and I are fortunate to call the beautiful mountains of NC home — a place that feels grounding, inspiring, and very much woven into who I am. I’m a wife, a mother, and a friend, and when I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me baking something sweet, curled up with a good book, singing to unwind (Disney songs have a way of sneaking in), or happily organizing life in a spreadsheet. Creativity and curiosity tend to follow me everywhere.

I discovered my love for photography just after high school, when I realized how powerful it can be to preserve moments that pass far too quickly. Like many artists, my journey began in other photographers’ studios, where I learned not only the technical craft but the importance of care, trust, and connection. Over the years, I trained in studio management, safe posing practices, and developed a deep specialization in newborn portraiture—skills that continue to guide every session I photograph.

In 2010, I founded Neeshanoo Photography and expanded into on-location and lifestyle sessions, allowing me to tell stories in a more natural, meaningful way. Along the path, I’ve had the joy of photographing growing families through many stages of life — and even celebrating a wedding or two.

What I love most is the connection. Every family brings something uniquely their own, and every age carries a different kind of magic. From the quiet warmth of a snuggly newborn to the energy and personality of growing children, each session reminds me why I chose this path. I truly can’t imagine doing anything else, and I’m honored every time I’m invited to help tell a family’s story.
