Family sessions are about connections and honoring the love that has been built over time — shaped by shared experiences, inside jokes, growing children, and moments both ordinary and extraordinary.

These sessions are by far the most versatile sessions that you can possibly book. While I absolutely capture your family together, I also take time to photograph the relationships within it — siblings together, parents with their children, individual groupings like all the girls, all the boys, and meaningful pairings that deserve their own space. Each connection tells a different part of your story, and together they create a fuller, richer portrait of your family. It’s like having a bunch of mini sessions all packed together!

During these sessions, my role is to create room for movement, laughter, and genuine interaction. So it’s not always about perfectly posed smiles or everyone looking at the camera all the time. I offer gentle guidance, but allow moments to unfold naturally and organically. Often, the most meaningful images live in the in-between: a shared glance, spontaneous laughter, or an arm wrapped instinctively around someone you love.

While most families choose to meet at the park or their favorite picnic area, I’m chock full of suggestions if you’re not sure where to pick. We can even set something up studio-style in your home or have a lifestyle shoot with your beautiful home as the background. We can keep it simple with just one outfit, or change outfits for the occasion. My goal is to keep things moving, fun, and interesting for young attention spans.
