These two young ladies are getting so big! You know that little baby on the cover of our Facebook page? Yeah. That’s the big sister!! She’s come a long way from the teeny little baby in her Daddy’s arms to hugging and loving on her little sister up in the mountains.
Funny story – Lauren and Ainsley’s sibling session was first set at the beach. “I’ve done fall every year,” I said to myself. “What better way to update their portraits than to take some their first beach trip?! Well, it was a fool-proof plan – but unfortunately not hurricane-proof…or wave-proof. On the weekend we were set to go, the wind and the high tide made it impossible. Don’t get me wrong, we had a blast at the beach, we made lots of memories. But the portrait session would have to go to plan B.
So weeks later we were supposed to take our annual mountain adventure trip. It was so close to Halloween that I figured I would take them to the local pumpkin patch and have a great time! Well…the weather did not cooperate with us yet again. It rained all day on picture day. Time for Plan C!! So the day we were going to leave, we just found a cozy little tourist attraction spot at our resort and just had some fun. See, it’s important not to get caught up on how the perfect session is going to go. It will be perfect by just being fun.
