The Rabbits – Family Session

One of the things I love about my job is the wonder of watching a family grow. If you go back three and four posts from here you’ll see not only my inability to update my posts in such a long time but also the “Rabbit” family. Naomi Rabbit had just turned 1 and Jamie Rabbit was waiting patiently for letters from her soldier Rabbit as he finished his basic training.

My friends, the Rabbits, had moved away to California shortly after those posts and it has been ever so long since I’ve gotten to see them. They recently came home for a visit and I got to have another shoot with them. Meet the newest baby Rabbit, Ezra.

And remember that one year old little girl, just learning to stand, full of spark? Well. She’s a toddler now! It blew me away to hear her speaking sentences and running around to play. She is still such a beauty. Her Mama made her dress and it is just darling!

This is such a gorgeous little family. I will miss them while they’re gone and cherish each visit. We ended with some great ones of them as a family.

We book your session in your favorite location, either early in the morning or late in the evening when the sun is just right. Right now the fall colors are amazing.

When I post a session on my blog, it’s to let you have a sneak peek before the big reveal. I also am careful to protect identity. When we complete your session you’ll be asked to pick a family name. You can use your last name, of course, but this military family chose to be Rabbits (though, to be fair, they were always Rabbits).

I can’t wait for more fun fall sessions to come and the next time I get to see my Rabbit friends again.
