I am thrilled to know one of the cutest curly-haired boys in (I’m convinced) the world! Meet Marion. He was born a premie, at only 5 lbs. 4 oz. Here he is at 10 weeks old. He’s a little older than the newborns I usually shoot. As you know, the best time to get newborn pictures done is under 4 weeks, but one look at him and I was convinced to try some of the poses.
He slept through them like a champ, allowing me to get peaceful sleeping as well as great wakeful shots. Here are a few of my favorites.
These black and whites turned out amazing. See what I mean? Because he was premie he was small for his age, I knew he’d still do well with a lot of these poses.

I’ve also got some awesome designs for composites. Each child I shoot is an inspiration, each composite custom built. Anyway, I had a great time with Marion and at a young age he is such a handsome boy.
